Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello my name is Marley. I am looking for my perfect family. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I am approximately 4 y/o. Marley is a very sweet and loving dog with many tricks to share with you. We drove to Illinois to meet with the contact person and she took us to the house where she saw the dog. Upon arrival, we found another very sad situation. Even though we didn’t know how the owner felt about us being there, it was very obvious the dog needed medical treatment. His eyes were practically matted shut and his poor ears were filled with drainage. And he definitely needed bathing. But even though he was in such bad shape, he still was wagging his tail as he was being petted. The owner said he was dog aggressive and thats why he had to be chained up. But either way, we knew he couldn’t stay there with no medical treatment. So after talking with the owner, she agreed to surrender him to us. He was immediately loaded in the car without incident, it was probably a bonus that our contact person was a retired cop. He was safe and would be heading to the vet in the morning. This morning Marley was treated for double ear infections, double eye infections and a laceration on one of them. Sad thing is, he probably lacerated his own eye trying to scratch because of the eye infection. He is currently on antibiotics and anti inflammatories because his ears are so swollen. In the mean time, he has shown no aggression towards any of his foster siblings and will be going in for grooming in a couple days. So if you can please find it in your heart Adopt Marley.
Marley adoption donation is $250 and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, Avid microchip & deworming. Marley is being fostered in St Louis Missouri but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $140. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.
