Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
They never even said goodbye… Trying to hold it all together, hold myself up, weak with each step. My body; now fragile like glass as I try to find a safe place. No more rumble in my tummy, too far gone for that. How did I become such a mess? I’m hanging on, my hearts still beating, but for how long? When my time comes, will I even be missed? My soul housed in a shell wasting away. Faces pass me daily as I linger in the streets. Pity painted on some, while others quickly look away. I’m too young to feel so old and too young to be erased from this earth. Depression seeping through my veins; I’ve been beat down, trust severed. I dream of a different life, better than this one. Is it too late for me; can my mind, body and soul ever recover from the pain and let down I feel inside me. Here comes a new face my way. Sadness painted on it. I don’t know to trust this face; so my wall goes up, I can’t help it. Panic now painted over the sad face, reinforcements come. Another face headed my way; this one is determined and moves into my space slowly. I stand my ground, so does determined face. No matter what I say, determined face is not giving up. “Don’t be scared; you are going to be okay, put your paw in my hand and come with me”, said determined face. I decided to leave my past behind me and on that day; February 14, 2014, I began to live the life of my dreams! My name is Finn and I’m 2 years old. It’s been a long struggle; I was very sick and even with the best care, we didn’t know if I’d make it. But, with God’s Grace I pulled through. Today, I leave no stone unturned knowing that each day is a gift we are blessed with. Since being in foster care, I have learned that I can be quite comical. Every now and then, I like to experiment as to how much stuff I can pull through the doggie door out into the yard. Like foster mom’s purse, now that was funny. She found me by following the trail of paper towels leading from the kitchen into the yard. So, me in a nutshell; great sense of humor, good looking, potty trained, love car rides and going for walks, great with other canines, and really enjoy visiting new places and people. Put your hand in my paw and let’s dive into this great big pool of life together! The best is yet to come! Please go to www.foreverhome4dogsrescue.com to fill out an adoption application. You can email foreverhome4dogs@aol.com if you have any questions. Peace and love, Finn.
