Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ambassador for the breed!! 9 month old baby Bizzy was intercepted outside a high kill shelter and we could not be luckier. He is one special pup. He is not only SO handsome with eyes that melt your heart, he is a sweet and kind soul who was made to be loved by a family. He is smart and will learn quickly. Our foster has fallen quickly in love with his personality and loving disposition. We have no background on him so we will require proof of registration to a puppy training class prior to his adoption. We want the best for him and an owner who is in sync with how to best communicate with him. Also, you must own your home...no renters. Bizzy has a wonderful disposition but we are requiring that families interested in adopting Bizzy have children over the age of 5. He is a big baby at 60 lbs with big feet to still grow into! His foster mom has also noticed that he LOVES to play with the other dogs in the house, his best friend is another pittie that loves to play with him. He is almost a dominant boy so a home with a female dog or a submissive male would be great. He tries to please, and reacts quickly to scolding (he flattens himself to try to be small if someone raises their voice to him). He also will give his foster mom little nose pokes on her leg or her hand so she knows she is constantly there. For a young dog, he is medium energy which is nice because although he loves his play time, he needs a nap afterwards. He can be a little pushy trying to get his way, so an experienced dog owner is a plus. Bizzy is an absolute doll and everyone who meets him falls for his charm. His foster mom is absolutely in love with them and they say that he is the best foster that they have ever had.
If you'd like to meet Bizzy, he's not ever to busy to meet you!!
Bizzy's adoption fee is $350 to cover transport, vetting and care. He is neutered, UTD on shots and will be microchipped so he will never be lost. LAMPR is a 501c3 public charity and all money goes to help care for the homeless dogs we help.
Thanks for considering a rescue.
