Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shelby came to us as a stray very very pregnant. In fact she gave birth to 10 puppies (yes I said 10...yikes!) not 12 hours after coming to the shelter. We were able to track down that she was adopted from another shelter but were unable to locate an owner. The other shelter just raved about Shelby's personality saying that she followed his 10 year old everywhere and rarely was kenneled because she was so well behaved. All Shelby's puppies found their forever homes and now it is her turn. We just love her!! She thinks she is a lap dog and is absolutely wonderful with children. If I had to say anything negative it would be that she should be adopted in a non cat or small dog home. As with many shepherds she has a high prey drive. She is so sweet and easy to train I think in time this could be corrected but it will definately take time. We have had her loose with a larger dog and she walked side by side with no problems. However we believe she would do best as the only pet in the home.
