My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zebulon NC: Little Carley came to me unexpectedly back in June as she was going to be euthanized at the shelter I volunteer with. Seems they had a high number of new intakes in one day so they had to make room for them. So all dogs off of their 3 day stray hold were to be pts. As I had interacted with Carley while taking her shelter photos I knew she was a very sweet girl and certainly didn't deserve to have her life cut short. So, arrangements were made and she was sent to the vet for her spay then she came home to me. Initially, she was shy and unsure of her new environment with all these other strange dogs around but she soon learned they were not scary and she made herself at home. She bonded mostly with Jewels who also came with her from the same shelter due to the same reason. But, she really loves all the other dogs as long as they are open to her shenanigans. Sometimes if she wants to play she will grab the other dogs leg or she will just bark at them until she gets a response.. Sometimes she reminds me of a cat as she likes to jump up on furniture such as chairs and tables. She is learning that tables are a no no. Carley has done very well on housetraining with no accidents in quite awhile. And, at night she occasionally sleeps in a crate though her choice of places to sleep are on a bed or a chair. As her buddy Jewels has now left for a rescue it is time to find Carley a new home too. She is fully vetted including microchipped.
