Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey is a cute little 6-week-old, 4-lb. (on 3/14/08) pup who was dropped of with her mother and litter mates at Animal Control. They are all now safe in a foster home with FHCR, and should be ready to go to their 'forever' homes around the 22nd of March, when they should be fully weaned. We're not sure of their parentage... people think that their mother Trixie (also available for adoption) is a mix of Westie and French Bulldog, but that's just a guess. Trixie weighs about 20 lbs., so we guess that the pups will be around that size when grown, and Honey is the smallest of the litter. Honey is very playful and has been well socialized, so she should make a great family pet. Her foster mom says she's the sweetest and most loveable of the litter.
Honey's adoption fee is $150.00, and includes her first round vaccinations, Rabies vaccinations, deworming, spay surgery, and starting her on heartworm and flea and tick preventative. She is currently being treated for kennel cough, but will receive her vaccinations when she is fully recovered.
If you are interested in Honey, and think she may be your ideal canine companion, please e-mail us at foreverhomeK9rescue@yahoo.com for additional information, photos, or to request an application.
