My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella (Toulouse) & her mate, Brutus (white Chinese), came to us because their elderly owner was placed in assisted living, leaving his beloved flock of geese to fend for themselves on his now vacant ranch. Seven geese parished to predators leaving only this pair remaining. Volunteers from the Phoenix Zoo sent out a rescue party to capture them, which they brought to us for sanctuary until a permanent home can be found. Brutus is a bit vocal, but otherwise not problematic. Bella is very mild mannered. Both will require some time to adjust to a new environment and to gain trust in their new person. They would make great pasture pets, weeders, and guard "dogs". Must go to a home with secure fencing and a grassy yard or pasture for them to graze, also a secure night enclosure if in a high predation area. If intersted, please provide a description of the home you have to offer, as well as photos of the environment where they would be housed. Adoption fee of $40 applies for the pair.
