Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update 3/29/08: Hi, it's me...Roc! Sorry I haven't updated you all about me, but my foster mom has been really busy, and since I can't type, I had to wait til she could take my dictation. So, finally she's ready...
Well, I've been here for about two weeks, and I've really been enjoying myself. I got the stitches out of my paws from my dew claw removal, so no more stupid bandages! Also, I got a bath! I didn't like it all the much, but I did behave. It did make my skin feel REALLY good, and boy, I smell GREAT! My fur is nice and soft now too! Foster mom says I eat like a champ...maybe I should be Rocky instead of Roc. I am near Philly after all. When I got here, I needed to gain a few pounds, but I am looking quite healthy now. Other than that, I've just been hanging out with my foster family. There are two other beagles that live here with me, a boy and a girl, and I get along with both of them. There are also two cats. I get along with them too, and foster mom says that the "mean" cat usually doesn't like new beagles that come into the house, but she likes me...I must be extra special! I have fit in here very well. I am housebroken, so no accidents! I like to go outside to play with the other dogs, but I don't really like to play with toys. You know what my most favorite thing is??? Sitting with my foster people!!! I LOVE to cuddle with them and give them kisses...It's what I live for! The only problem is, I need people of my own. If you think you might be the person/people for me, come and meet me...you won't be disappointed!
Love,
ROC
Roc, Babs and Reese came to BREW when their elderly owner went into a nursing home. They all have some fur loss from fleas (that has all been treated - the fur will grow back!). Roc and Babs are skinny!
Roc enjoys his sisters, but when I had him visit with Jimmy (who is not dominant and is very playful), he was a little intimidated. But when I took Jimmy away, Roc was all over me. Mr. Kiss! He is very affectionate and sweet.
