Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rainbow and Zydeco's mother came from a shelter where she was saved before giving birth in the shelter environment. She is an 11 pound Chihuahua Mix with short hair. We don't know what the daddy was, but we are suspecting that he was possibly a Spaniel Mix. These puppies were raised with love and guidance in a foster home and have been well taken care of. They are vaccinated and dewormed and will all be spayed and neutered on 7/18. They were born 4/25/14.
Rainbow is a spit fire and a force to be dealt with. She loves to run as fast as she can and is fearless. She uses a puppy pad (most of the time) to go potty, or will go outside if she is close to the door. She loves playing with big and little dogs, but is a little rough when wrestling with her brothers. She weighs about 4 pounds at 10 weeks old and will probably be between 10-15 pounds as an adult is our best guess. She does not like to share her bones or food with her brothers but has been respectful with older dogs and people.
Zydeco is the biggest of the puppies. He weighs approximately 4.5 pounds at 10 weeks old and will probably be between 12-15 pounds as an adult is our best guess. He was the slowest to adjust in his new foster home and despite trying to act tough, he is probably the most intimidated of the puppies. He has beautiful light colored eyes. Zydeco does not like to share his toys and treats with other dogs but has been respectful with people.
All puppies have been using a puppy pad for the most part and will go outside to potty when the door is open. They have been well socialized with dogs and kids but they do bark at new dogs that they meet. They are noisy little boys and girls and probably will not make good apartment dogs. Bark bark bark!!! However, it is easily overlooked because they are sooooo cute!!!
If you think you have the right home for one of these guys, please request an application. The adoption fee is $250 plus a $17.99 microchip registration fee.
