Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My Name is Mia and I have a few years of experience on some of the other Paws Rescue cats. Although technically, I’m referred to as a “senior” cat, I am of the adage that age is all in the mind. I am healthy, active and have lots and lots of great years ahead of me – I just need someone to give me a second chance. I am a little bit shy at first but I warm up pretty fast. I really do like people but I also like to have my quiet time. I would be so happy to have a soft lap to where I can snuggle with my person while we’re watching television or, better yet, the birds outside. I have been vaccinated have already been spayed. I am in a Paws Rescue foster home with other dogs and cats, but I’d really like to have a home and a person of my very own. I tolerate other animals but I wouldn’t say I necessarily like them all that much. If you are someone who is past the “kittens climbing your curtains” years, I may very well be the special cat for you. I have a lot of love left to give so if you are interested in adopting me, please contact Paws Rescue at Leigh@pawsrescuepets.org or call 601-529-1535. My adoption fee is only $25. If you can’t adopt me, please share my story to help me find that very special home that I just know is out there somewhere for me.
