My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Andy and I was found running down I-20 with shoestrings tied around my neck. A nice woman stopped and I hopped right in her car. I was pretty tired and she figured that I was chasing the folks who dumped me. She calls me a mini-hound! As you can tell, I'm pretty cute! I can already sit for my food and treats so she says I'm a smart little guy. I do let out a hound howl if she doesn't get my food to me fast! I'm pretty laid back, but get really excited when I see people (I need to work on not jumping on folks, but I do love people)! I get along with other dogs really well. Cats irritate me, but I'm starting to tolerate them. Anyway, I'm current on vaccinations, I have been neutered and treated for heartworms. I'm so ready to find a permanent home to call my own. I am a very curious guy and very athletic, so my foster mom has to watch me pretty well because I can climb our chain link fence (what can I say -- I really like playing with the dog down the street!
