Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The Ladybird Animal Sanctuary rescued Lacey from Mississauga Animal Services where she ended up as a stray. She was in her foster home for a short time, then adopted. Unfortunately it didn't work out in that home and she was returned to us.
We placed her back into her original foster home and she's again waiting for her forever home.
Here is a note from Lacey’s foster mom:
“Lacey is a sweet tempered little girl with such a pretty face. Her pictures don’t do her justice. She is inquisitive and very active and enjoys the company of my own rabbit. A little shy when being picked up but once in your arms she snuggles right in and enjoys being petted and having her ears rubbed. She is very clean in her pen and I think she would do well free roaming in a new home if introduced to it slowly. I haven’t found her to be a heavy chewer – she loves her tunnels and her hidey hut. Lovely little girl all around!”
Please adopt Lacey!
We ask that our rabbits not be housed in the types of rabbit cages they sell in pet stores. Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
