My story

PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE CONTACTING US.

Gus is an adorable three year old chihuahua that was surrendered to a local shelter b/c his owners said they could not care for him anymore. Gus is timid when he first meets someone but warms up to his person quickly and is very affectionate and loves to sit with you and be near you and give you lots of kisses!. In general new things tend to scare him and he is sensitive to noise. Gus does great with other dogs but like a typical chihuahua, he can be a bit bossy! He LOVES to play with toys inside and to run with the pack outside. His foster parents are working on getting him well socialized and exposing him to people and all kinds of things so he can learn that there is nothing to fear. Gus is making great progress and is doing great. For Gus we are looking for a home with people who understand his needs, a securely fenced in yard and other dogs his size that he can be friends and play with. Gus is housebroken, he is current on vaccinations including Rabies, he tested negative for heartworm, he is on heartworm/flea prevention and he is neutered.If you are interested in adopting Gus please fill out an adoption application on our web site: http://inthenest.net/app_adopt.php.
