My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gambo is a total lovebug. He is a 2.5 year old male Landseer Newfoundland who came into our lives as a very anxious boy because he knew little more about the world than his crate and dark garage. In the span of a few days he has come out of his shell and shown his true Newfie colors! He gets along quite well with our (Alpha) 2.5 year old Female Newf and has learned to walk on-leash (still working on 100% 'loose' leash) and to swim in lakes. We think he has been scarred from being in his crate so needs a home where he can free-roam day and night...he loves our doggy-door and fenced-in backyard. He gets separation anxiety (depression, no chewing or mischief) so he should go where he has another dog or human with him most of the day. He will follow you wherever you go, he really just wants to be by your side with his big cute smile and smushy face! He is GREAT with kids of all ages and strangers. He enjoys being brushed. We don't know how he will do with cats. It will be hard separating with this guy, he is truly a joy to have around.
