My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The phrase, "Be Kind I'm Blind" does not fit Gidget as this very sweet, mild mannered 8 year old Maltese/Poodle does not realize she is blind which occurred suddenly 2 years ago. She is an avid walker and is in front of the pack when walking with other dogs. She is very smart and quickly adapts to new surroundings. She is very attentive and listens to everything her foster mom is saying. Gidget comes immediately when called. She quickly mapped out the household rooms, established her favorite spot on the sofa, and enjoys sleeping near her foster mom. When Gidget is outside she knows exactly where the walkways connect to the house and yard. She can quickly figure out the surrounds when she is taken on a walk to a new area. Gidget is truly a wonderful, affectionate little dog and would love to have a forever home to share her love with a new family.

Gidget is truly amazing! By no means, does Gidget act like a disabled dog.
