Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our little Westie mix, COSMO, is showing some color, he has three spots that are very light brown and the backs of his ears have black hair mixed in as well. We know Cosmo to be half Westie and we believe the other half of his parentage is bichon. He has a beautiful fluffy coat, when not trimmed down with his summer cut, and is very playful and friendly. He has gotten along well with the other Westies in his foster home and is well crate trained. He is house trained and loves to go for long walks on leash. Given the chance, he loves to chase a cat, so there should be none of those in his new home. Cosmo is about 5 years old and would love to have a fenced in yard to run and play in.
If you would like more information on COSMO please contact GLWR at westierescue@mchsi.com or submit an application at www.glwrescue.org.
*Please familiarize yourself with the Westie breed to be certain these terriers are a good match for your family. Westies are "indoor" pets.
*We do not ship Westies. Transport options are available.
*Adopters should understand that our Westies come from varied, and sometimes difficult, backgrounds and will need an adjustment period to settle into their new home.
*Additional training may be required and is always recommended.
*GLWR, Inc. requires a completed application ( available online at www.glwrescue.org ), personal references, a vet reference, and a home visit.
*GLWR is an all volunteer non-profit corporation, an adoption donation of $300.00 helps support our rescue program.
