My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rhonda is the most laid back, sweet coonhound you could ever hope to meet! This girl is two years old, housebroken and crate trained. She is excellent with other dogs and very respectful of their space - (She would be very good in a home with an aging pet). She loves to go on walks and run in the back yard. She would also make a good jogging companion. She loves car rides and trips to the park. Don't let this sweetie pass you by!

We are a 501(c)3 Rescue operating in the VA, MD, DC, and WV areas - with the ability to adopt out of state. A copy of our adoption application can be found on our website - www.openheartsrescue.org. Please fill out and forward via email to openheartsrescue@yahoo.com. Meet and greets are only scheduled after an approved application is received. The adoption fee on our dogs is $125.00. We are a foster-based, volunteer organization and answer all emails as quickly as we can.
