My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Toby and people tell me I am a huge love bug! I used to have a family but they had several small children. As I grew larger, I kept getting in trouble for bumping. I couldn't tell the difference between 'child toys' and 'my toys' and got scolded for that too. I just wanted to play :( Eventually, I was kicked out of the house and confined to a small area beside the house. I didn't like that very much so I started spending my boring days plotting escape. This is when my family started throwing around words like 'shelter'. What is that? I knew I didn't want to find out!

Lucky for me, the ladies at Rescue Rowan heard about me and came to pick me up instead. I have been having such a good time at my foster mom's house. I get to run around on a horse farm, visit with other dogs and cats and even birds. I love them all! Oh, but the water, there is just something about running through a creek that makes me so, so happy! The only thing that would make me happier would be to have my own family again. Do you have room in your family for a fun loving guy like me? I promise not to take up too much room...hahaha just kidding, I weigh 85 pounds so I will take up some room but I promise to share the covers with you and you can watch tv with me whenever you want :)

Toby is 15 months old, neutered, heart worm negative and up to date on his vaccines. He will also be microchipped before adoption. He would love to come visit you! Foster with option to adopt is available for Toby. Contact us today!
