My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Boone! He is about 3 years old and he is a Lab/ Border Collie Mix. He acts more like a Border Collie than a Lab as he carries many of the known traits....Herding anything and everything! Boone also loves to play with other dogs and would enjoy doggie daycare.

Boone does better with children 12 and older- he LOVES kids- just doesn't know his own strength and might bump into smaller children. He has never really been around cats that we know of. He is a huge lover and wants to be at your side at all times. Boone is very VERY smart. He had 12 one on one sessions with a dog trainer Anna Greenald and knows most commands: Sit, Stay, Touch, Give, Off, Get Back, Go Potty.

The is handsome guy is neutered and up to date on Rabies and distemper vaccines. We have past history records from puppy up, which will accompany Boone to his new home.

I think he can be a little anxiety ridden with new situations but eases into them once comforted. He is crated when we are not home. He loves to swim and go for walks and runs. Boone loves trips to dog park to burn energy and we use the "touch" command to keep him close. He is used to treat and praise reward-type (positive reinforcement) training.

Boone has no medical issues, maybe could shed about 10lb, but couldn't we all?
