My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nessie is a 4 year old purebred Newfoundland that was surrendered by her owner. She has been spayed and brought up to date on everything. Nessis is a Special Needs dog. She has had loose stools for 2 years. She has been to many vets and specialists for her problem.
She is currently on Hill prescription diet W/D and 3 different medications. She is doing well but we are struggling financially to keep up with her veterinary needs.
She is housebroken and lets you know when she has to go out but it would be better if she went to a home where someone is home all day.
Nessie is very sweet and affectionate and gets along with children, other dogs and cats. She is not destructive and doesn't need to be crated.
We are keeping her in a "lion-cut" to keep her cool and clean.
We're looking for a family or individual that is financially stable enough to care for Nessie for the rest of her life and give her lots of love and attention.
Her adoption fee is $100 but it is negotiable to the right family.
Please do not contact us if you can't afford her or have no knowledge of large breed dogs. Nessie is not a drooler . Her coat will need lots of attention if you let it grow out. She will come with her food, meds and complete vet records. A vet reference is an absolute must.
