Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Candy, so called because she is sweeter than sugar. An approx 18-month-old mixed breed, Candy has the saddle, white socks, and beautiful eyes of a beagle. But she is taller than a beagle, and larger (approx 45 lbs), and has a thicker undercoat and wonderfully soft fur, especially around her face. She gets along with all dogs, and is gentle and loving with people. She walks very nicely on a leash and sits on command. Candy was rescued from a kill-pound, where she was set to be euthanized because she exhibited separation anxiety. While it's true that she is much happier with people, her separation anxiety has lessened at the shelter, and we can simply say that she prefers to be with her person. Candy would love to find a foster or forever home, and she would reward her new person or family with boundless love. Although she has not been tested in a home, it is very likely that she is at least partially house-trained, as she is clean in her kennel pen.
