Krazie Kimber as we affectionately call her, has the sole purpose of having fun every single day and will settle for nothing less.....even if its just to put a smile on your face.... which she does without effort! A long term boarder, she arrived here when her previous owner did not have the time to spend with her due to his heavy work schedule and she was surrendered to me. She has been the entertainment and welcome committee for all dogs who have boarded with us, bossing them about, playing tug, wrestling and generally having a wonderful romp playtime.....however, she deserves her own family to go home to at the end of the day.....Kimber is one of the brightest dogs I have ever met, that being said, she will run circles around you if you let her...can be a bit of a drama Queen if she doesn't get her own way...its a girl power kind of thing.....but since she is a smarty pants, she catches on really fast, you just have to be one step ahead of her, or she will delight in making you look like a total idiot and grin from ear to ear whilst she does so.....(I've been on the receiving end several times) Also, INSISTS everyone talk to her in the vets office or wherever...embarrassing! Kimber is beyond sweet, an athletic girl, markings of a German Shepherd with the build and agility of a greyhound she would excel at agility. Loves to play fetch, hike or even a good running buddy, but is quite the couch potato when inside and actually loves to get in your lap and snuggle..... she plays well with other dogs once she has established that she is Boss and she adores small dogs! Cats not so much! HATES squirrels! Fantastic watchdog....alerts me long before my Shepherds that someone is on my property....however she is not an outside dog, she is a social creature who loves to be loved on and craves attention.
She is 2.3 years old, spayed, UTD on all meds, rabies due next year, would really prefer an experience handler who is fair but firm in order to give her the boundaries needed to be a well balanced companion. A total goofball! Would love for her to come back and board during your vacations at an alumni cheap rate! She's special, can be a handful at times, but theres something remarkable about her that gets under your skin.....are you exceptional enough to take her into your heart?
