*I'm part of the Home for the Holidays promotion beginning November 11. Check our the Adoption Procedure & Fees page to learn more!* I came in as a stray cat and it’s been a scary last few months. Don’t misunderstand me, though; I may hiss, but as soon as you start petting me, especially little scratches around my neck and behind my ears, I start relaxing and purring a bit. It’s just that finding myself here, I wasn’t quite sure what to do at first. I do seem fine with cats. I am a sweet and gentle, petite girl that hopes my stay here will be a short one; all I need is for someone to ask about me.

Save-A-Pet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues in Lake County that operates a full-time adoption center. Our adoption center strives to create an environment which enhances both awareness of and support for the humane treatment of animals.
