I sat at the pound for 5 long months!! I was brought in as an owner surrender in February by a man I considered my best friend, we had been together for my whole life but sadly he was going into a residence where he could not take me and he thought he was doing the best thing for me not realizing where he dropped me off was in a city that had a Pit Bull ban so the odds of me being adopted were slim to none. I sat there so very long and the only thing that saved my life was the staff and volunteers who spent time with me, they just loved me because I was so gentle and so very friendly
I am a 6 year old American Staffordshire Terrier so please before you fall in love with me, my story and my heart shaped nose make sure you are living in a place that accepts my kind because I really do not deserve to be bounced around any more
I am a gorgeous girl who really has a love of life and my foster family (who have fostered many pit bulls) say that I am as close to perfect as doggies come. I travel perfectly in the car where ever you want to go I am ready to be with you anywhere and for always. I chill out in the home quietly just wanting to be with you, lying by your feet no matter what you are doing.
I lovvvve all my new toys in foster care, I have played with everyone of them and after a 6 month stay at the pound joining the CAA Rescue family into foster care was like waking up on Xmas morning – so many toys that were all mine to play with!
I absolutely love going for walks and am a perfect lady on the leash but during our walks you will have to stop and take time for me to roll around on the grass it is my most favorite thing to do and my foster mummy says it is the cutest thing she has ever seen!!
So far I am a perfect canine citizen in my home – no accidents and no destructive behavior. I am quiet and I am calm. I do live with a resident kitty in foster care with no issues I am listed as good with everyone
True to my breed I am courageous – not many could walk out of a 5 month long stay at the pound and let it all go and leave it all behind but I did! My heart is stronger than anything you have ever known and you have never ever felt the love I have to give you!
Since all the changes and hardships I went through I just really want to be happy. I want a home and a family of my very own. I am super smart and confident – I am gorgeous and I know it. I only want one thing and that is to be with my family for always with them doing everything they are doing.
I am looking for someone who can love me for the next 9 years of my life; I need someone truly committed to me for always.
