Shadow

Adoption Donation: $200.00
Age: approximately 3 years old (2014)
Weight: approximately 10 lbs

Shadow was surrendered to the rescue in February 2014. He was suffering from massive hair loss and itching. After a vet visit, Shadow was having flea issues. He was put on flea and tick medication, given regular medicated baths and, of course, shaved down so all his fur can grow together. Shadow looks like he might have some Chihuahua in him.

Shadow is now doing well. Shadow is house-trained as long as he is able to go outside. He does not understand puppy pads. He is neutered. He wants love all the time and will sleep with you. He likes to chase lizards, frogs, flies and the vacuum! He does have a very loud bark. He barks to get my attention or to eat. He likes car rides but needs to bark the entire time. He would need his dew claws clipped monthly otherwise the nails will start to hurt him. Oh, and he LIKES children. He does not like to wear a collar.When walking with a leash, he is a puller. Leash walking and car riding are two issues that a dog trainer can help to resolve.
