Missy

Weight: approximately 6 1/2 lbs

Missy was surrendered to the rescue in March 2014. Missy had to get spayed, have a dental, up to date on shots, and current on heartworm / flea and tick meds. I think Missy might be mixed with Papillon. She has silky fur and her ears are slightly farther apart then a Pom. Her tail already flows over her back and hangs down.

Missy is housetrained to the outside or puppy pads. She really needs someone who is an experienced dog owner and will spend the time training her. She squeals and barks at everything. She has a very high pitched squeal whenever she sees anything (motorcycles, cars, trucks, dogs, birds, cats, people,etc). We are trying to work with her but she definitely needs one on one attention. Oh, and she even attacks the vacuum (which most do)! Whenever we meet someone, she wants to jump in my arms. She follows you around the house. She tries to be the alpha dog but I always have to put her in her place. She loves to sleep in bed with you, cuddling right near your side! Missy walks well on a leash until she senses something, then watch out! She would need a very special family who understands her and is able and willing to give her the proper training.
