Trinket – Named because she is a unique, little treasure. Trinket grew up living outside and unfortunately she sustained some sort of trauma that severely injured one of her hind legs. Her chances of survival outside were slim to none with a bum leg and when we heard her story, we knew we had to help. We took Trinket in and after her leg was examined by the vet, it was determined that it was in her best interest to have the leg amputated. Trinket had surgery and she recovered quickly. Although she is now a tripod, she gets around just fine and has no problem climbing her cat tree and navigating the stairs.
Trinket is an adorable, petite, and loving girl. She is very shy at first, but once she gets to know you she she will follow you around and purr. She is a very affectionate kitten and loves to be petted and rubbed. Her best friend in her foster house is the dog. She weaves between the dog’s legs and rubs up against her. She gets along great with the resident cats at her foster home and would be a great companion to another pet. She would do best in a quieter household simply because she is shy and a chaotic home would likely overwhelm her. This special little girl deserves a great home, could it be with you?
Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Trinket's adoption fee is $100 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
