My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petra is a ready to learn puppy! This mixed breed monkey was part of a litter born mid April and rescued from deplorable conditions at only 5 weeks old. Her sibs Max and Bella remain in the care of Cross Our Paws Rescue and her brother Guapo has a local adoption pending!

Petra has quickly overcome her initial shyness in foster care and now loves to meet new people. She’s been well socialized with big and small dogs but can still be unsure during the initial introduction. She is working on basic training and manners, and is picking up things fast.

Blessed with a big voice, Petra does not hesitate to raise it when you go out of sight. With some maturity and consistency this separation anxiety should be easy to overcome. The ideal family for this busy girl will have plenty of time to devote to her and commit to puppy socialization classes. Having left mom so early, Petra can be mouthy and would do best in a home with adults or older kids as she learns bite inhibition.
