Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST: PLEASE CONTACT Terry G. at terrymg@sprynet.com, or call 713-397-6815. Loretta: 2 yrs; 38 lbs; Border Collie/Beagle Mix; Smooth Coat; Active Companion. Hi there! My name is Loretta! I am a Border Collie/Beagle Mix. I am one spunky, fun-loving girl. I am probably no more than two years old, and spent six long months in the shelter before I went to foster. I don't understand why I got looked over, time and time again, but it must be because nobody fell in love with me enough to take me home. But that did not deter my spirit. I just kept on wagging my tail, and being happy, just hoping to make a good impression. Might you be that family that sees all the good in me?" Loretta's Foster Mom says, "The fact that Loretta survived 6 months of shelter life, and remains such a well-tempered pup, is a testament alone, to her good nature and undying spirit.” Loretta will need a home that provides plenty of opportunity for exercise, and outlets for her intelligence and energy. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs but not so much with cats as she herds them too strongly; preferred children 6 and up. She loves entertaining herself with her squeaky toys, and is a fast learner for leash training on walks, and recently has learned to play "Frisbee". She may do very well with sports activities or playing at home or fenced parks. She does very well in her crate at night/during the day, rides well in a car and is 100% housebroken. This lively girl is more than ready for her "Fur-ever" home, and is available for adoption through the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, Conroe, TX, Inquiries can be sent directly to her Foster: Terry G. at terrymg@sprynet.com, or call 713-397-6815. Her adoption fee is $80; there is an application to Foster to Adopt/Adopt Loretta and a home visit if applicable.
