My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus: 11 months; 40 lbs; Border Collie Mix; Smooth Coat; Active Companion. Gus is such a soft cute boy, his smile and tail wag says it all. He was found running loose in a rural part of Katy TX and is being fostered in TX by his finder whom he enjoys her company and her dogs. Gus plays really well with other dogs; shares his toys; does great with kitties and children. He jogs off leash in his rural foster home, which are awesome-shows he has a lot of off leash potential. Gus walks well on the leash and can take more physical activities that are offered to him or less with more time and companionship with his humans. He would do well living in a rural, suburban, even the urban life as long as he has that direction and connection from his humans. I think he would do splendid as a pet therapy dog and he is even up for jogging/walking-so easy to work with this young Border mix. If Gus was in a home where someone worked longer hours she would need more exercise in the AM and PM but can relax in his crate nicely or loose in the house; nicely mannered in the house; would enjoy more social activities; preferred children 5 and older. Gus is available for Foster to Adopt or Adoptive home; his adoption donation is $175. There is an application to fill out and home visit where applicable.
