Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Speckles spent the first few months of her life living outside a local sorority house. When it began to get cold outside, she was brought to the shelter. As we did not have room to house her when she first arrived, Speckles spent some time in one of our foster homes. Her foster mom said that Speckles is a very sweet (but slightly shy) girl. Speckles did great with the dogs in her foster home and would sit on the couch with them. She liked the cats in her foster home and even liked to play with one of the especially playful cats in the household. She loves to eat treats (especially "Temptation" treats) and loved to eat the occasional scoop of wet food at dinnertime. Speckles likes to play and even likes to chase laser pointers. While Speckles can be very curious and playful, she does get nervous if there are loud noises or quick and sudden movements near her. As she was not handled very much when she was younger, she does take a little time to adjust to new environments and new people. However, once she gets to know you, Speckles will come up to you to get attention. She liked to come up to her foster mom to get neck and chin scratches and she would rub up against her legs to get attention, especially around dinnertime! Speckles has a very sweet and gentle personality and would love to go to a nice quiet home where she can continue to blossom and gain some confidence. Would you like to bring her home?
