Ben is a young (1-2yo), 8lb, male ShihTzu who is a truly amazing dog! He was rescued from Animal Services after he had either been hit by or thrown from a vehicle. He was temporarily paralyzed. His outlook was grim, especially when we saw his xrays - he had a broken spine. After a few weeks in foster care, Ben overcame the impossible and is now walking, running, playing and doing everything all other dogs can do! He is Ben - the super dog!

Ben is the sweetest little guy. He just wants to be by his people. He is no trouble at all. He enjoys taking naps, short walks, car rides and playing with other small dogs.

Ben's adopter must agree to regular professional grooming as this breed requires special care.

Ben's adoption fee is $250. He has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and will be neutered next week. Ben is heartworm free!
