Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mat got his name as when he was rescued he was dirty and terribly matted.. Once groomed, he looked and felt much better although we discovered a lump on his rear leg. A biopsy was done and the lump was determined to be non-cancerous, however, we had it surgically removed as we felt if it grew larger, it might interfere with his movement. Our vet also did a full dental and removed two small warts while he was under anesthesia. He is now healthy, micro-chipped, neutered heartworm negative,, and on preventatives.
Mat is a 12lb senior but has plenty of spunk. He loves attention and is very affectionate. Mat likes other dogs and still is playful. We don't know about cats as there are none in his foster home but doubt it would be a problem. We think Mat would do best in a home without children under 12. Perhaps a retired couple or someone who is now an empty nester. Can you give Mat a loving home for his golden years? Please email vivgraves@hotmail.com for more information and adoption application. Adoption fee of $250 to help defray veterinary costs to approved inside home.
