Hello! My name is Chi Chi and I am a gorgeous mustache parakeet. My Foster Mom says that I am a wonderful companion and she spends a lot of time everyday working with me. I am not quite comfortable stepping up yet, but I am working on that very hard. I don’t ever bite though and I love to be around people and I like having other pets in the home that I can watch, listen to, and even talk (chirp) to – especially the dogs – they actually listen to me, lol! I like to be in the middle of everything that is going on and I will come over to see something I am interested in. I also like to receive attention from the small people in my foster home – they are so funny to watch and talk to with my chirping and the other sounds I can make. I am a little vocal when the front door opens or if I think you are leaving me alone – I just need to get used to those things. I also love to eat pellets and blueberries are one of my favorite foods. My Foster Mom is working on expanding my pallet for a more healthy diet. I really hope you will come meet me and see the potential that my Foster Mom says I have! I can’t wait to meet you!

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
Parakeets, Cockatiels, Lovebirds: Fee’s for these birds are optional, but please consider donating any amount you can afford – your donations allow us to help more animals in need!
