Posted 5/26/2014. Mollie’s puppies had a difficult start in life. When they were only one day old, Mollie somehow escaped from the crate where she and her pups were being kept prior to coming to Furry Friends Network. Molly desperately wanted to care for her puppies, so she tried to pull the puppies out of the crate to be with her. When the puppies arrived at their Furry Friends foster home, they had to be rushed to the vet because some of them had skin torn from bone. Fortunately two veterinarians worked hard to reattach the skin, and now the pups are healed, healthy and happy little babies with no scars from the past, now looking forward to finding devoted families to love them. Max is one of the smallest of the pups, about 6 pounds presently, and has the sweetest temperament. He loves to be held and cuddled, and when he looks at you with warm brown imploring eyes, he can just about talk you into anything. He is happy and playful and full of energy and fun. Max will be looking for a home of his own in July, a home where he will receive plenty of attention with a family who has the time and patience to work with him and train him. In return, he has plenty of love to give.
