Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $110
Adoption fee includes neuter, deworming, up to date vaccinations, negative heartworm and receiving heartworm preventative, and a one year TBAR membership.
Bandit was pulled by TBAR from the Eagle Lake pound which is considered a holding facility. If there are no more kennels available, the animals are scheduled to be euthanized. A group of dedicated volunteers work with the Eagle Lake animal control officer to find rescues who can take in these dogs before they are put to sleep. A TBAR foster home saw Bandit’s sweet face and couldn’t see him being euthanized when his perfect forever home is out there looking for him if he only had a little more time.
Bandit is now in his new foster home and doing very well. He was approximately born on January 1, 2013 and has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and received a negative heartworm result. He loves going outside, running and playing in the sun. He loves everything and everyone, especially having a loved life finally! Bandit is a small dog, weighing under 20 lbs and would do well with a family who has a yard for him to get his puppy energy out or as a daily running partner. His best friend is a year old hound dog named, Punkin, and they are inseparable whether indoors or out. Being part heeler, Bandit will need daily exercise and attention. If you have the time and dedication for a medium energy level dog, please consider adding this sweet boy to your family! He doesn’t mind the idea of having other fur-siblings to play with either. He will definitely need daily outdoor play time either in a fenced yard or at a local dog park.
For more information on adopting Bandit or any other TBAR adoptable animal, please email help@t-bar.org or call (936)878-2349 and leave a voicemail. TBAR is volunteer run and will respond to your message at the volunteer’s earliest convenience.
