URGENT! Nakida will be moving from her deceased owners home August 7 to reside in a boarding kennel until she can finder her new forever family. This is no place for a wonderful Chow CHow who loves to be around people! Please help Nakida find her new forever family, she did not ask to be left in this position in her senior years. She is too sweet to be left living in a boarding kennel.

Meet Nakida wonderful senior chow really needs your help! Beautiful 13 yr old Chow - needs a new home! Owner died suddenly. Harley has found his forever home with one of Chow Rescue Ontario's foster parents Nakida loves to be with people, but is not good with cats or small animals. Would be great as the only 4-legged person in the house. With people, she is very gentle, very well behaved, very sweet. She used to be a terror to wildlife who came into her backyard, but now she is slower and more sedate. The last years she has had a quiet life, but we’ve found that she is very happy to go on new adventures.

Harley and Nakida's owner had been a life long chow owner who rescued many throughout her life. Harley and Nakida are both former rescue dogs...

Nakida is in very good shape and we chalk that up to the quality of care they received from her past owner. Nakida is on a raw diet and gets injections for arthritis.

We are waving the adoption fee to the right owner.
