Baby Girl is a very lucky Kitten from India with a rescue story like no other!
Kathy is an extraordinary old lady who left her comfortable life in Australia to live in a small village in India to rescue and rehabilitate animals from the streets. Few weeks back Kathy found a group of monkeys going crazy and jumping around on the trees. It looked like one of the monkey was carrying something alive in his hand. Kathy kept following him and eventually this monkey lost interest and dropped his possession down. It turned out to be a new born kitten. This little kitten was so small that her eyes had not even opened yet. Kathy bottle fed this kitten for many days and now she can eat on her own. She is now 4 weeks old and too young to be vaccinated but we have started her deworming. Her name is Baby Girl. Since no one was going to adopt this kitten in India we flew her to the U.S. for a chance at adoption.
Baby Girl is one healthy, happy and spoiled little Kitty who likes only the best food out there. She laps up Kitten replacement milk but also likes to eats real Tuna and Chicken and not the canned cat food flavoured stuff which is full of byproducts and chemicals. With good nutritious food she is growing into one feisty, naughty little cutie who is so playful, agile, full of life and energy.
Baby Girl LOVES dogs, she thinks she is a dog not a cat!!! She has been living with dogs and ever since her eyes have opened she has seen only dogs and humans and never another cat. Her best bud is Brownie a young female IN Dog also rescued from the same village by Kathy. They keep each other company and always playing with each other. Baby Girl does sneak attacks on Brownie which is so hilarious. Yet Brownie is so gentle and sweet with Baby Girl; she mother’s her all the time and keeps an eye on her. They sleep together all night cuddled up in the same bed. The bond they share is simply precious! Brownie and Baby Girl are lucky to be in a same foster home in the U.S. and so it would be nice if they are adopted together. If you are interested in adopting both of them please see Brownie’s profile in the dog’s section of our rescue.
Baby Girl and Brownie are fostered in Natick MA.
