My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lewie Dog came to us after he was pulled from a shelter in North Carolina. It was apparent that Lewie had spent most of his life in a cage, as he did not know how to appropriately interact with other dogs. We have had him in our care for a month now and he is a completely different dog! There were initial concerns of aggression towards other dogs, but in our household of 4, he has learned very quickly what it means to share, play and be a brother! He is affectionate and known around the house as a "limp noodle" because he loves to lay around and be ridiculously cute! He is housebroken and loves to spend time in the sun. Our only concerns for Lewie Dog: He is VERY curious and will find a way out of your fence, if there is one. NOT TO RUN AWAY, but just to see whats on the other side. He needs FULLY FENCED yard, with no holes. Also, he is crate trained for when you are not home, he just has A LOT of energy for the first 2 minutes when you let him out of the crate, and he JUMPS. We have gotten him down to only 15 seconds of jumping, instead of the 2 minutes he was doing upon arrival into our home. Lewie Dog would be a great addition to any family and loves to learn and please his family!
