Update 5/11/2014. Hello! Izzy here. I've been with my foster family for about a month now and I'm loving it! I get to meet puppies in my training class and lots of people and kids at adoption events. I love going for car rides, although sometimes I can be a little stubborn getting into the car. I'm learning how to walk on a leash, because right now I like to zig zag all over the place. I have two nicknames, "Busy Izzy" because I'm always off doing something and "Goofy Girl" because I'm always making my foster family laugh with my antics! I've been learning a lot of stuff lately, but the toughest was potty training. I'm told I've improved a lot and I rarely have accidents in the house anymore! This seems to make my foster mom really happy. I'm really enjoying the warmer weather because I get to splash around in a kiddie pool and I'm told there's a larger one that I get to try out in another week or so! If I like it as much as I think I will, I'll be back and I'll post some pictures!
Posted 4/11/2014. Hi! My name is Izzy! I have to admit, I'm not sure what to say here because I'm very new to this whole fostering thing. I can tell you that as a baby, I spent most of my days hanging out with my mom and dad in a basement watching the world through a window. I didn't get to experience a whole lot, so now that I'm in a foster home everything is new and different! It's exciting and a little scary too. My foster mom says I'm some kind of mix of Chocolate Lab/Shar Pei/Pit, and that I'm currently 7 months old. I guess I would say that my perfect family is one that will teach me lots of new things and take their time with me so I don't get scared. I like my foster sister and brother dogs, so a brother or sister of my own would be cool too! I haven't met too many people yet, but I've been told that I'll get to go to events where lots of people will want to meet me. I hope to see you there!
