Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update 5/9/2014. Belle can be choosy about her canine friends. She happily cohabitates with the dogs in her foster home; however, Belle isn't as friendly with other dogs when she is elsewhere. For this reason, we currently recommend a home without other dogs for her.
Update 4/30/2014. This gentle spirit was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. Hard to tell how or why she got separated from her humans because she is certainly a people-lover, wants to be close to her human friends and wouldn’t easily wander away. Now Belle is looking for a family to give her the home and love she deserves. She is about a year old, a big girl, weighing in at 60 pounds. She has Shepherd features, so we are thinking she is a German Shepherd mix. She is the sweetest dog, gives affection freely, enjoys people of all ages, likes to snuggle and will happily crawl right onto the couch or into your bed to be close to you. Belle gets along with other dogs but is not cat-friendly. She has plenty of energy, and runs through the yard joyfully, carrying her stuffed or rubber toys with her. This is a terrific dog, one who will steal your heart and never let go. Won’t you take the time to meet Belle and find out for yourself what a treasure she is?
