My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Romeo, a 4 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. My foster mom calls me a “starter” Malinois because although I have the Malinois energy and exuberance, I am not ‘over the top’ like most Malinois. I just need a home with an active family and a fenced yard to play in. Frisbee is my FAVORITE game! I usually bring it back but sometimes I like to be chased around the back yard. I am a wonderful running and hiking companion, especially if you are by the water, I will just jump right in and splash around. I love to be outdoors with my person.

I live with other dogs but I try to dominate and would be best with a good natured, larger dog or as an only dog (preferably) because I have so much love to give and would rather not share my person. I am definitely a Velcro dog which comes from my German Shepherd side and I just want to be loved.

Cats and small dogs are definitely a problem because of my strong prey drive. I am also best suited for homes older children (10 years old or older) because of my size and playfulness.
