Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Happy! From her white tipped tail to her delightful prance, you can see how much this girl loves life! Rescued from Memphis Animal Control she's enjoying life with her foster family. She's young, recently spayed, fully vetted, great with other dogs, slight interest in cats (we're having her cat tested), loves people - no vices...just pure happiness!
At just around 45 lbs she's a medium sized dog with an energy level to match. As with all of our dogs, we'd recommend some basic training classes so that she can bond with her new family. Another dog would be spectacular so she could have a playmate to burn any extra energy and have a partner in crime :)
Her foster Mom & Dad say she's a delight and had this to say about her:
"Happy is a 1yo beauty rescued from Memphis Animal Services, one of the most deadly pounds in the nation, and also the source of some wonderful CDs. She is being fostered in Memphis in a home with many dogs, which can be hard on needy pups. Happy is not one of those. She is very self-confident and meets people and other dogs eagerly. She has been a bit pushy sometimes with a dog, but she responds well to discouragement and wanders off to another pursuit. At this moment, she and several other dogs are napping on the cool kitchen floor.
She is SO gorgeous! Happy is tall, slender, perfectly shaped and seems to walk on air. It's a joy to watch move around in the back yard.
Happy is HW neg., spayed, utd on everything. She's crate and house trained and well behaved--no bad habits at all. She is still puppyish and she needs training, but she is sweet, smart and responsive."
If you'd like to know more about Happy - please send an email to savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com for an adoption application. Maybe Happy will be the pup to complete your family!
