Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Modelo (or Mr Mo if you prefer) is an 8 years young neutered male mixed breed dog. Mo is a very large boy, topping the scales at about 90 pounds. This guy is in great shape, and if we didn't know he was eight, we'd never have guessed it!
Mo is an all around good guy! He gets along well with cats, and all ages and sizes of humans that he has met. His previous home included a little girl and he was always wonderful with and tolerant of her.
Mo knows basic commands (sit, down, wait, off) and generally minds well. He walks well on a leash as a general rule. He is potty trained and also crate trained. His foster has not observed any resource-guarding issues toward humans or other animals.
Mo is currently fostered with two other large male dogs, and has had zero issues with them. He has met many other dogs and done fine with them as well. He behaves himself around dogs in public too. However, he is in need of a new home because in his former home, after enduring seven years of torment/bullying from the other dog in the home he finally decided to stand up for himself. Mo caused just minimal harm to the offending dog, but his former owners decided to try to find him an environment where he wouldn't feel the need to defend himself. Thus, although he is more bark than bite, his current foster has recommend that he go to a home that is dog free so that he can get all the love and attention that he deserves. He's waited eight years for that home.
Mr. Mo is moderately active. He would be happy to go for walks daily, and he'd be a good hiking buddy. He can even handle short jogs (2-3 miles), but if you are looking for a running partner he is not your guy -- he lacks the motivation to do so. Mo would just as soon snuggle on the couch for a good movie, or play in the back yard for a bit! He's a pretty easy keep in the exercise department. Mo also loves to sleep in the bed with you, but he is kind of a bed hog!
Mo is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. He has a modest adoption fee of $100. Note: **Mo is a courtesy post and is not a dog in Tough Love's program. Please contact Lindsay at lrkrutsinger@gmail.com to request to meet Mo.**
