My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Casanova, or Nova for short! Nova's mom was a full-blooded Weimaraner & his father appears to have been a Catahoula. Nova is four & a half years old & is a beautiful healthy boy! He is about 55 lbs & small for his breed mix due to a case of demodex when he was a puppy. Nova is very sweet & a real lover! Nova will actually wrinkle his nose up & smile at you! He's been picked on by his bigger brother & is still a little skittish at times, mainly when meeting new people & dogs. Nova lacks confidence & is most comfortable around smaller submissive dogs or dogs with an even energy. He is playful and good around kids but tends to get nervous around young energetic children so he would not be a good fit for a home with toddlers or children under about 10 to 12. Since he has been around other dogs his entire life, Nova needs a home with an existing dog to help him settle in. He has been around both male & female dogs of all sizes & is good with all the other dogs in the pack. Nova is housebroken as well as crate & leash trained. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations & has been on preventatives to protect against worms & heartworm. His adoption fee is $150 to cover the cost of vetting. An adoption application & contract will be required.
