Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Godiva is a ten week old dachshund / maltese mix puppy. She weighs about three pounds. She is the most beautiful chocolate brown color with golden points. Look at those ears! There are just not enough words to describe Godiva's CUTENESS!! She loves his brothers and sisters Sirah, Coby and Hershey, who are also available for adoption. She even thinks the cats are fun, too! Godiva is looking for a home to call hers. She wants to be pampered and loved the rest of her life!
If you are interested in giving Godiva a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 901-361-0089 anytime with questions.
Godiva's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Godiva is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to this new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
