My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is a ten week old dachshund / maltese mix puppy. He weighs about three pounds. He is the most beautiful chocolate brown color. Look at those ears! There are just not enough words to describe Hershey's CUTENESS!! He loves his brother and sisters, Sirah, Coby and Godiva, who are also available for adoption. He even thinks the cats are fun, too! Hershey is looking for a home to call his. He wants to be pampered and loved the rest of his life!

Hershey's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Hershey is living with a foster family in Tennessee. He will travel to this new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
