Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Brownie
Age: Approx 8 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Choc lab/ Chesapeake Bay Retrieiver
Size: Large
Colour: Brown
Kids- Yes
Dogs- Yes
Cats- No
Description: Brownie is a very confident 3 legged Choc Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever who weighs in at about 70lbs. He rarely barks unless he sees a squirrel (He has a hate on for them like you wouldn't believe). Brownie has a high chase drive, so would not be suitable with cats, but is great with kids! He loves meeting new people and dogs.
Some of his favorite things include daily walks and belly rubs. Brownie hates slippery floors and seems to panic on them, also a home with a lot of stairs wouldn't be good either. He is very good in the car. Although he is 8, he acts like he is 4.
According to his foster dad, what makes him amazing is that he is unstoppable, and "everything" he does makes you laugh! You think that he might be slow because he has 3 legs, but in short bursts he is just as fast as a 4 legged dog, and he loves to play with his buddy Foxy at the park!
Adoption fee includes:
Two complete physical exams

Jenn's Furry Friends Rescue is run by a passionate volunteer base dedicated to helping unwanted and homeless animals get connected with their forever families. As we do not have a "bricks and mortar" building the way some shelters do, we rely on the assistance of animal lovers in the Winnipeg area to provide temporary housing for these animals.
