Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I was brought to a shelter in Kentucky with my brother Hops because my owner was ill and could no longer care for us. When I first arrived to the vet's office, I was so scared of everyone and everything. After a week or so, I started to trust the people who were caring for me. They were giving me yummy treats and letting me play with tennis balls. Everything started to click and I was back to being me again. I am just about 2 years old, pure bred Golden boy that needs a second chance. I am still not completely trusting of new people but if you take it slow and don't scare me too much, I will warm up to you in no time. I am most fearful of men. See this picture? Only three days and I was sitting in her lap. Oh, I am healthy too - no issues there. So if you have a calm home, can be very patient with me in teaching me that people are not bad, I would love to join your family. I am good with kitty cats - no small children though, they make me nervous and scare me a little. ***I absolutely must have a fenced in backyard with other dogs in the home, I do not do well as the only dog. I also must stay in the Knoxville area.
