CLEO and SPHINX: These gorgeous purebred Abyssinians, who were surrendered together, are not littermates, but they might as well be. Cleo, who is not quite a year old, and Sphinx, who is just over a year, are very affectionate. Both love to be held; they purr and knead and give great face mushes. Sphinx likes to get on your shoulders and roll in your hair. Cleo can be a little more standoffish when meeting new people, but it doesn't take her long to get over it: just hold her and she is all over you. When they are not cuddling with you, it's no surprise that, as they are little more than kittens, they love to play, and it's a blast to watch them. Sphinx had an eye injury when he was younger; although he is totally recovered, he does squint that eye sometimes. Cleo and Sphinx are a bonded pair, so need to be placed together. They get along with other cats, and we think they'd be OK with a mellow dog that ignored them. No young kids for this pair. WAG only accepts applications from New Hampshire residents and from residents of communities in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts that are on the New Hampshire border.
